In niches such as: crafts (16.7%), consulting (10.2%), retail (8.6%), real estate (8.1%), finance and insurance (6.8%).
Many entrepreneurs took advantage of the crisis and opened a business in their desired field.
Fewer companies were registered in the tourism and entertainment sectors. However, experts say that after the crisis, it is in these areas that a boom is expected.
Most of the rapid growth of companies was observed in the central and north-western parts of Switzerland and Zurich.
Now, many Swiss cantons are introducing tax reforms, which will attract a flow of financial investments. For example, Nidwalden has set the corporate tax rate at 9.8%.
