It is now possible to obtain electronic citizenship in Lithuania.
As a reminder, since 2014, Estonia has been the only country in the world offering electronic citizenship.
Now, since November 2020, Lithuania offers a similar status to citizens of countries outside the European Union. Holders of e-citizenship will receive an ID card.
What electronic citizenship / e-residency offers:
- The right to register your business.
- Conduct transactions with partners and clients from EU countries.
- The right to open various bank accounts under a simplified process.
- Certain rights and business opportunities will be the same as those of Lithuanian residents.
- You can use PayPal to store profits in euros.
- Access to electronic signature.
- The right to create your own virtual office.
- It is convenient and beneficial for business purposes.
