Legal address in Estonia

Only organisations that have obtained a special licence issued by the Money Laundering Information Bureau of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board are entitled to provide a legal address in Estonia!

SOWANA was officially registered as an Estonian company in 2012 and has the necessary licence – number FIU000209, which gives the right to provide a legal address in Estonia on the basis of a contract.

The legal address service in Estonia is a popular solution for:

maintaining privacy — separate your work life from personal life and keep your home address confidential;
enhancing company image — list a company representative address instead of a residential address in official documents;
ensuring a permanent address — keep your company’s contact details unchanged in the Commercial Register even if you rent temporary housing;
working remotely — manage your business remotely without the need for an office, warehouse, or retail location in Estonia.

As part of the “Legal Address in Estonia” service, SOWANA offers the following for €150 per year:

The right to use our legal address details in the Estonian Commercial Register and for your company’s operations;
No restrictions on the volume of correspondence delivered in person by a postman or courier to our address in Tallinn or any other region. The cost is already included in the “Legal Address in Estonia” service;
The cost of receiving registered mail from a post office is €10 + 22% VAT per registered letter.

Mail Storage

The mail storage service is valid for three months from the date the client is notified of the received item. This option is included in the “Legal Address in Estonia” package;
Unclaimed mail is destroyed after the three-month storage period without additional notification to the client;
If mail needs to be stored for more than three months, the terms and conditions are discussed individually based on the estimated volume of correspondence;
There are no time limits for storing notarial and/or corporate documents, certificates, or excerpts from the Commercial or other registers submitted to SOWANA for safekeeping. These documents are stored indefinitely until claimed by the client.

Mail Scanning Service

The mail scanning service for received postal items has limitations – maximum 20 letters per month – and is provided exclusively upon client’s request. The cost is included in the “Legal Address in Estonia” service package;
After reaching the monthly correspondence processing limit, each additional page will be charged at €0.50 + 20% VAT;
Scanning of mail from Estonian regulatory authorities is performed without quantity limitations and at no extra cost, but unclaimed correspondence will only be stored for 3 months.

Mail Forwarding Service

Mail forwarding to clients is performed at standard or courier postal rates by agreement, plus our service fees as listed on this page:

Forwarding original mail items costs €10 + 20% VAT for the forwarding service + actual postal delivery costs (according to postal rates);
Courier service forwarding starts from €50 + 20% VAT. Conditions and costs for forwarding to third countries are discussed individually.
Mail collection is available on business days from 10:00 to 17:00 based on prior written notice or phone agreement.
